I had my three-month check up on Tuesday and it seems I am on the right track. My hair is growing and my energy is better overall. I'm looking forward to summer!

It was May 15, 2007, when my world started to change. That was the day when Dr. Paredes told me that the tumor in my breast was malignant. First the world around me ceased to exist and then everything went into fast gear. Surgery in June. The first chemo treatment in August. Since then I've been living in a pseudo reality. Just now the clouds are thinning and I'm seeing my life in a new light. This blog is my way of getting my thoughts together ... maybe I'll learn something here.
